Carrier relationships built on clear expectations
Reliable freight starts with reliable partnerships.
TWG works with qualified carriers that communicate clearly, protect the freight, meet service commitments, and provide accurate shipment documentation from pickup through delivery.
TWG uses Highway for carrier identity verification, onboarding, vetting, and ongoing compliance.
Carrier essentials
Clear expectations from setup through payment.
A straightforward and secure way to work together
Good carrier relationships begin with verified information.
TWG uses Highway as our carrier identity, onboarding, vetting, and ongoing compliance partner. Carriers must complete the required Highway connection and TWG review before being eligible for load assignments.
Highway helps confirm that the carrier, authorized users, contact information, authority, insurance, and company details belong to the legitimate carrier organization.

Highway has a dedicated carrier-service team experienced in helping carriers resolve onboarding, verification, account-access, and platform challenges.
Carrier identity and compliance
Why TWG uses Highway
Freight fraud can involve carrier impersonation, unauthorized users, altered contact information, and double brokering. Highway adds identity verification, secure onboarding, compliance monitoring, and fraud-risk information to TWG's carrier-review process.
Identity verification
Helps confirm that people connecting with TWG are authorized to act for the carrier.
Secure account control
Carrier companies can manage which users are permitted to access and update their account.
Authority and insurance
Compliance tools support reviews of carrier authority, insurance, and qualification requirements.
Ongoing monitoring
Carrier information may continue to be monitored after initial onboarding.
Fraud-risk indicators
Identity and operational insights can help identify unusual or suspicious activity.
TWG review
Highway is one component of TWG's approval and shipment-assignment process.
Highway connection plus TWG review
Connecting through Highway is the beginning of the approval process.
TWG reviews carriers using information available through Highway together with shipment-specific and internal business requirements.
Completing Highway onboarding does not guarantee approval, load assignments, payment terms, or continued eligibility.
Protect your carrier identity
Highway helps carriers protect their company from impersonation.
Control account access
Approve only authorized users and remove access when employees or dispatch services no longer represent the company.
Verify communications
Confirm that TWG messages come from an authorized @twg-logistics.com address.
Protect shipment details
Safeguard rate confirmations, pickup numbers, and customer information.
No unauthorized transfer
Never rebroker, subcontract, or transfer a TWG shipment without written authorization.
Confirm payment changes
Verify banking or factoring changes through approved channels.
Report suspicious activity
Notify TWG immediately when communication or shipment instructions appear unusual.
Verification may delay an assignment, but freight will not be released when the carrier's identity or authority to act cannot be reasonably confirmed.
Before accepting the shipment
Review the complete load before confirming capacity.
Notify TWG immediately if any shipment detail is unclear or inconsistent with the rate confirmation.
Keep the shipment visible
Communication and tracking expectations
Milestone updates
Driver assigned, dispatched, arrived, loaded, in transit, arrived at delivery, and delivered.
Immediate exceptions
Report missed appointments, equipment failures, damage, count discrepancies, tracking loss, accidents, or delays immediately.
Accurate information
Updates should reflect the driver's actual location, status, and revised timing.
Pickup and delivery procedures
Protect the freight and close the shipment accurately.
At pickup
Verify location, reference, commodity, handling units, count, visible condition, weight, securement, and required signatures before departure.
At delivery
Follow check-in requirements, protect freight during unloading, obtain a legible signed POD, and report shortages, damage, or refusal immediately.
Do not leave unresolved issues
Contact TWG before leaving a facility when material discrepancies or delivery problems remain unresolved.
Accessorials and changes
Approval before additional cost.
Detention, layover, truck ordered not used, additional stops, reconsignment, driver assist, storage, redelivery, and other charges should be reported promptly and approved in writing whenever possible.
Unapproved or undocumented charges may be disputed or denied.
Documents and billing
Accurate paperwork supports timely payment.
Confirm the TWG shipment number, invoiced amount, signatures, dates, and legibility before submission. Missing or unreadable paperwork may delay review and payment.

Carrier questions
Frequently asked questions
Is Highway required to work with TWG?
Yes. TWG uses Highway for carrier identity verification, onboarding, vetting, and compliance. Carriers must complete the required Highway connection and TWG review before being considered for load assignments.
Does a Highway connection mean I am approved?
No. Final approval depends on TWG requirements, customer requirements, current authority and insurance, equipment, lane fit, operating history, risk, and the specific shipment.
What should I do if I have trouble completing Highway onboarding?
Contact Highway's dedicated carrier-service team at service@highway.com or 906-HIGHWAY.
Can I email TWG a carrier packet instead?
No. TWG does not accept carrier packets by email. All new carrier onboarding and setup must be completed through Highway.
Does completing setup guarantee loads?
No. Load opportunities depend on customer needs, lanes, equipment, timing, service requirements, carrier fit, and available freight.
Can I rebroker or assign a TWG load?
No. A TWG shipment may not be rebrokered, reassigned, subcontracted, or transferred without prior written authorization.
What should I do if pickup or delivery will be late?
Contact the assigned TWG representative immediately with the reason, current location, updated timing, and available recovery options.
How do I request detention?
Notify TWG when detention begins, provide arrival and departure times, identify the facility contact, and submit supporting documentation. Written approval may be required.
When should I submit proof of delivery?
Submit a clear, signed proof of delivery as soon as possible after delivery using the approved document-submission process.
How do I update banking or factoring information?
Use the approved support channel. Additional identity and documentation verification may be required before any payment change is accepted.
