Who we are
TWG Logistics is a freight brokerage and third-party logistics provider operated by The Wicker Group LLC ("TWG", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through our website and customer portal, why we collect it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect
Information you give us directly. Names, job titles, business email addresses, business phone numbers and company details, provided when you request a quote, tender freight, open an account, or contact us.
Shipment and transaction information. Origin and destination addresses, commodity descriptions, weights and dimensions, pickup and delivery appointments, reference and purchase-order numbers, rates, invoices, proof-of-delivery documents and related records generated in the course of arranging transportation.
Portal account information. If you have access to our customer portal, we hold your username, a hashed password, and a record of documents you have downloaded.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we may collect IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and referring URL through standard web logs and analytics.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and our services are directed to businesses rather than consumers.
How we use it
We use the information above to:
arrange, dispatch, track and document freight movements
quote rates and respond to enquiries
invoice customers, pay carriers, and manage receivables and payables
provide access to shipment documents through the customer portal
meet recordkeeping obligations that apply to brokers and carriers
communicate about service, billing and account matters
detect and prevent fraud, and protect our systems
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to run the business:
Motor carriers and drivers — the shipment details needed to pick up, transport and deliver freight.
Software providers that operate our systems, including our transportation management system, accounting software, payments and factoring provider, and communication tools. These providers are bound to use the information only to provide their service to us.
Professional advisers such as our accountants, auditors and legal counsel.
Insurers and claims adjusters, where a cargo claim or incident requires it.
Government and regulatory bodies, where disclosure is required by law, subpoena or legal process.
A successor entity, if the business or its assets are acquired or reorganized.
How long we keep it
We retain shipment, invoice and accounting records for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy tax, regulatory and contractual recordkeeping requirements, which is generally a minimum of three years from the date of the transaction, and longer where a claim or dispute is open. Portal account records are kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
How we protect it
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections for our website and portal, and limiting access to the staff and providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may:
ask what personal information we hold about you
ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
ask us to delete information, where we are not required to retain it
ask us not to send you marketing communications
Send any of these requests to [PRIVACY EMAIL]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will honor those rights where they apply to us.
